Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms“) outline how OWI Web Development works with clients and the responsibilities of both parties.

By using the OWI website or services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Services

We provide web development, website design, e-commerce solutions, digital marketing, mobile app development, and a range of related digital services.

Before starting any project with OWI, we’ll agree in writing on the scope of work, timelines, and deliverables.

2. Pricing and Payments

  • All pricing is outlined clearly in your proposal or package agreement.
  • A 50% non-refundable initial payment is required before work begins. The balance is due once the project is complete, before launch.
  • We will quote separately any additional work or features not included in the agreed scope, and these must be approved before work continues.

3. Your Responsibilities

To help keep your project on track, you agree to:

  • Supply all required content, branding, and materials promptly.
  • Ensure that any information or assets you provide are accurate and do not infringe third-party rights.
  • Respond to approvals and feedback promptly so the project can progress on schedule.

4. Project Timelines

We complete most websites within 2–4 weeks, depending on the size of the project. If you delay providing content, we may need to extend the timeline.

5. Revisions

  • We have set several revisions on each package, which we will detail in your proposal.
  • Extra modifications beyond that allowance may incur an additional charge.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Full ownership of your completed website, app, or design transfers to you once the final payment is complete.
  • OWI Web Development may place a copyright (logo or link) in the footer of your project for copyright purposes and portfolio.
  • To remove copyright (logo or link), you will need to pay 10% of the total project cost, or €400 for projects under €2,000.

7. Hosting & Maintenance

  • We may include Hosting, domain registration, and SSL certificates for the first year, depending on your package.
  • Renewal charges will apply after the initial period.
  • Ongoing support and maintenance are available under a separate agreement.

8. Liability

We deliver all services to a high professional standard. However:

  • We cannot accept liability for indirect losses, such as lost revenue, profits, or data.
  • We implemented Security measures, but no system is 100% immune to risks.

9. Termination

  • Either party may end a project with written notice.
  • We will invoice any work carried out up to the termination date, and you must pay the invoice in full.

10. Governing Law

Any disputes occurring will fall under the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
