General Terms and Conditions
These are our general terms and conditions. Please refer to your project documentation and contract for terms and conditions specific to your website design and build project.
Ownership of Content
Upon full payment of the project fee to OWI Web Development, you will own all elements of text, graphics, photos, content, trademarks, and other artwork provided for inclusion on the website. The right to use this content resides entirely with you. As a result, if any third party duplicates the content, OWI Web Development will not be liable.
Pricing
All prices and discounts are indicative and subject to change without notice. Please confirm prices with OWI Web Development.
Payment
All services require a non-refundable advance deposit of 50% of the project quotation total before we supply any work for your review. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work or at a stage of payment agreed upon between OWI Web Development and the client. OWI Web Development reserves the right to suspend the project until any outstanding debt is cleared. Additionally, OWI Web Development will not be responsible for any data lost due to account closure resulting from non-payment.
Disclaimer
OWI Web Development assumes you have permission, as the rightful owner, to use any images or design elements you provide for inclusion in the website. If OWI Web Development provides stock imagery, it is your responsibility to ensure that a license has been purchased for using the images. Please be aware that in cases where a suitable licensed image cannot be found, OWI Web Development may use unlicensed images for demonstration purposes. It is your responsibility to replace any unlicensed images before the website goes live. At all times, you must ensure that all text, graphics, photos, videos, designs, trademarks, and other artwork used on the website have the necessary licenses or permissions from their respective owners. OWI Web Development accepts no liability for any consequences arising from the use of such material.
User Agreement
You agree to allow OWI Web Development to display graphics and other web content elements as examples of their work in their portfolio and as content features in other projects. OWI Web Development also retains the right to place its logo and a link at the bottom of the website pages for copyright purposes. If you request the removal of the design credit, a nominal fee of 10% of the total development charges will be applied. If the total development charges are less than €2000, a fixed fee of €400 will be charged.
This agreement constitutes the sole understanding between you and OWI Web Development regarding all items included.
