Chris McConnell has 15 years of experience working with people to overcome problems such as depression, anxiety, and addictions.
He trained in psychotherapy through University College Dublin, based at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He also qualified for two years in London in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Goldsmiths University.
He has extensively trained in and utilizes mindfulness-based CBT therapies, including, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP).

He is an accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP), The Association of Contextual Behavior Science (ACBS), and The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
